Hi! My name is Pari and I am 13 years old. I live in India, the land of unity in diversity and I speak 2 languages, Hindi and English. I play badminton almost daily for 2 and a half hours and have been playing for 3 years now. So, it is no big surprise that my favourite player is PV Sindhu.
I am a self confessed book lover, with my favourite genre being murder and mystery. I consider myself to be a true potterhead and, if you are curious I am in Slytherin and my Patronus is a dolphin. My favourite book is probably Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’. My favourite book series are the Harry Potter series as well as the Anne of Green Gables series. I am currently reading the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.
I enjoy listening to music and, being Indian, listen to both Hindi and English songs. Most of this music is usually from the top 40 charts and I quite like it. My sister, on the other hand says that I have a horrible taste in music! My current favourite in english music is Grace Vanderwaal’s ‘Moonlight’ and in Hindi music is ‘Baarish’ from the movie Half Girlfriend.
I also enjoy watching Youtube videos in my spare time, particularly studytubers such as Studyign, StudyWithInspo, Tbhstudying and Mariana’s study corner. It is thanks to these youtubers that I started a bullet journal this year and have maintained it throughout. Did I mention that I absolutely adore cute stationery?
I am not a huge TV shows person but I do like watching Masterchef Australia and as you can probably tell,I am a bit of a foodie and happen to have a huge sweet tooth. Being a non-vegetarian, my favourite fast food is KFC’s Chicken Popcorn. But in my opinion, the best ‘junk food ‘ in the world is Vada Pav on the streets of Mumbai, my city.
As far as movies go, my favourite English movie is ‘The Parent Trap’. As for Hindi movies, there are far too many to choose from! My favourites are ‘Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani’, ‘Piku’, ‘Neerja’, ‘Dangal’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
This is my second post on The 30 Day Blogging Challenge. See you next week!
